Push what your body's capable of.

Shannon keeps it simple and personal. He builds every plan around the person in front of him — no two clients get the same session, because no two bodies start in the same place.

What he loves most is helping you find out what you’re actually capable of — testing your limits on strength and movement, then moving them a little further each time. Not to impress anyone, but to leave you with more ability than you walked in with.

He’ll always encourage you, but he won’t pressure or guilt-trip you — the one thing he can’t do is want it more than you do. Whoever keeps showing up for themselves, however slow the progress, already has his respect. That, to him, is what winning looks like.

His story

From carrying his dad — to coaching for life.

Shannon’s “why” started at home. As a middle child, he was the one who took his dad to hospital appointments — and there were days he simply wasn’t strong enough to help the way he wanted to. “If not me, then who?” became the question he lived by, and after his mum passed, that responsibility fell squarely to him.

He watched his father gradually lose strength and movement — muscle and motor function slipping away over time. That experience drives everything he does now: helping other people hold on to their strength and independence for as long as possible, and a constant reminder to stay strong and healthy himself.

Away from the gym he’s the first to laugh at himself — quick with a peace sign, never says no to a good cheat meal (“a very big back,” he jokes), and a firm believer in training hard enough to enjoy it all in balance. Still, nothing beats the feeling of seeing a client get an ability back — the thing he couldn’t give his dad, he gets to help give to someone else.
