Vicky's Story: Embracing Strength, Mobility, and Balance in Life

I look forward to every workout session nowadays and to be able to witness a better version of myself is the best self-care gift that I could ever think of.

As a preschool operator overseeing three kindergartens in Kuching while also assisting her husband John in his event business, Vicky has a busy, demanding life. In July 2024, both Vicky and John decided it was time to invest in their health, leading them to start a program with Coach Izzy at iLift.

Vicky admits she was highly inactive for years. Wanting to avoid becoming a burden to her loved ones, Vicky embraced the idea that aging gracefully requires effort and commitment. I must, and I should, do something for my health as I age, she reflects. Her ultimate goal? To stay fit, healthy, and active, so she can continue to travel and live life fully.

Now, she's beginning to see the rewards of her efforts. Her core strength and muscle definition have improved visibly, mobility and flexibility are better than ever, and tasks like climbing stairs or walking long distances no longer leave her exhausted. She's also lost weight and trimmed down in areas she didn't expect.
