Every coach trains clients one-to-one, by appointment, across our Kuching studios. Tap a coach to read their full profile.
One of our most experienced coaches — calm, precise, and a steady hand for clients rebuilding strength carefully.
A founding coach who still loves the floor — big on the 'why' behind your training, not just the workout.
Methodical and encouraging, with a knack for making complex movements feel simple and safe.
Calm and patient — especially good with clients returning after an injury or a long time away.
Warm and easy to train with — the coach who makes a first session feel far less daunting.
A competitive lifter who makes serious strength feel approachable — practical, patient and never intimidating.
Detail-driven and supportive, focused on clean technique and strength that lasts.
Steady and motivating, with a real eye for safe, confident progress.
A gentle listener who builds you up from a solid foundation — patient, safe, and great with older adults.
Patient and observant, with a gift for coaching nervous beginners at their own pace.
Driven to help you rebuild real, everyday strength and independence — encouraging, never pushy.
Our team is growing — new coaches join the floor only once they've earned it.
Qualifications get a coach through the door. What earns them a place on our floor is the patience to watch your form ten times until it's right, and the care to make sure you never feel out of place doing it.
Degree and accredited certifications in exercise and sport science, plus training in nutrition and corrective exercise — the technical base our standards are built on.
The coach who watches your form ten times, who explains the why, who never rushes you. With adults 40+, patience isn't a soft skill — it's the whole job.
They learn your history, your worries and your name. Most clients stay for years — that only happens when the coaching is personal.
A certificate tells us a coach knows the science. It doesn't tell us they can coach our clients — adults with histories, injuries, and a quiet wariness of gyms. So before any new coach takes their first iLift session, they complete around 100 hours of structured in-house training.
They shadow senior coaches on the floor, learn the iLift method step by step, rehearse cues and assessments, and are signed off only once we're confident a client is in safe, capable hands. No one is thrown in at the deep end — not our coaches, and certainly not our clients.

Our coaches train together every week — workshops, case reviews, and skill upgrades that keep their coaching sharp. A standard in the industry is to qualify once and coast; ours is to keep getting better, so the coaching you get this year is better than last year's.

"The day you think you've learned it all is the day you stop being a good coach."
We start with coaches who already hold certificates in personal training, or degree-level, accredited credentials in exercise science.
We look for patience and warmth — the temperament to coach nervous beginners and adults 40+, not just athletes.
Structured training in the iLift method, shadowing senior coaches and rehearsing every assessment.
Only once we're confident they meet our standard do they take their first client — one-to-one.
